I thought my phone interview went fairly well. I answered the interviewer's questions thoroughly and thoughtfully, and expressed interest in working for the company. The representative told me they would probably be able to let me know in "24 to 48 hours" if I would be moving on to the next stage of the interview process. After not hearing from them for 7 days, I reached out to them asking for a possible update. I was told people had been out of the office for PTO and that they "should have a good feel for who is moving forward tomorrow." Twelve more days passed and I had not heard anything. I sent another email asking for if I was still being considered for the position. Twenty more days passed and I sent another email. That was two days ago and I haven't heard anything.
Ghosted by an HR representative. Extremely unprofessional. Why would you want to work for a company whose HR team shows such incompetence?

I applied online and was contacted via email to set up a phone interview. The phone interview lasted about 30 minutes and was very basic. I was told I would be contacted in the next few days. I wasn't, not on the phone, not an email, nothing. I found this very unprofessional. For a company that stresses in the job description, being organized, keeping in contact with their customers and having great interpersonal skills, I was surprised at the lack of communication and follow up.
