Applied online in December 2014, got a call 3 months later in March 2015.
It started with a phone interview, followed by two in-person interviews and a request to submit a writing sample, and I was hired within 2 weeks.

I conducted a brief preliminary interview, did a writing test, and then a two-hour interview with the program manager. Then I never heard from NDI again... no rejection and no responses to my follow up emails.

Entretien
There was an initial phone interview to verify language proficiency, followed by a panel interview in person. It was a generally relaxed environment with typical questions about previous experience and what the candidate felt they could bring to the work place. The interviewers were open to questions about the work place, duties to undertake, and expectations for work and travel. Salary was not discussed and a writing and translating test followed the interview.
