I recently interviewed for the Data Engineer Intern role at Nasdaq and the overall experience was smooth and well-structured. The process included a 90-minute online assessment (conducted between Oct 29 – Nov 2), followed by two technical interviews and one HR discussion.
In the first technical round (Nov 26), I was asked about Python, Pandas, PySpark, Databricks, Linux commands, my projects in Python, and a few behavioral questions.
The second technical round (Dec 3) focused on similar topics, and since I mentioned my ML experience, they also asked about datasets and any data-engineering-related projects I had worked on.
The HR discussion (Dec 5) included questions about my relocation plans to Bangalore, what I know about the company, stipend expectations, and general role details.
Overall, the interview process was well-organized, the interviewers were friendly, and communication was clear at every stage.
