I received an email by HR requesting a phone call to set up a phone interview. The phone call turned out to be a surprise panel interview with an engineering manager, an HR personnel, and another employee. Several technical questions were asked, and I felt like the interviewers were slightly rude and brusque. I think that HR did a poor job of communicating the purpose of the phone call. After a two weeks of hearing nothing, and asking for an update, I was told that I was not selected to continue.
