I was approached by HR for this role. They share a link to an online assessment test with 20 aptitude and 40 programming questions. After passing the test, I was invited to an online interview. The interview started with the interviewer requesting me to open my camera and asking to give him a quick introduction. But he didn't open up the camera the whole interview and even barely introduced himself.
He then followed by asking a series of the fundamental questions of HTML, CSS, JS and React., which are usually asked to entry-level or mid-level engineers. He even barely asked any questions related to my almost 10 years of experience in Frontend dev. But that's alright as I still managed to answer all of those basic questions.
By the end of the interview, I noticed the interviewer felt uninterested and probably in a hurry to wrap up the interview (as he probably made up his mind to reject me anyway).
Overall, the interview experience was very unprofessional from start to beginning. I'm a little disappointed with the rejection. But his overall attitude reflected the company culture in some sense. And, I am not sure if I will reconsider or even recommended to apply it here next time,
