I applied through NYU Langone and was contacted about a week after applying by the hiring manager. She set up a zoom interview with me. The interview was very easy going and I actually enjoyed my meeting with her. I was then invited to meet with the provider I would be supporting, unfortunately, he had been called into the OR so I met him but it was very brief. I met with the team lead and covering secretary, and again the interview was very casual and enjoyable. The next step was references which I obtained and a skill surgery was sent to each one. This took a little longer than expected because on of my references was away on vacation. I also needed to complete a admin skills test which tested how well I knew Microsoft Word and Excel. Once that was done, a couple of days later I was called with an offer and also told I needed to interview with HR.
