16 mins wasted… I am generally alarmed by 15 min scheduled interviews. One thing that struck me is it stated no stem experience necessary, but it was evident they were looking for that. I had to state I understand if I’m not the ideal candidate. It must be me or that’s okay too. Liza attempted to dissect my resume for 3-12 year experience when it’s a detailed document that showed I’m a 6-12 teacher who enjoys teaching Mathematics. Rather than stop the interview she insulted me by suggested I be considered for The Assistant Teacher role which is minimum wage. The she didn’t like my answer and tried to insinuate “ we encourage our candidates to learn our values, and mission to see if it aligns to their vision”. Again, why not just stop the interview.
