Got to assessment centre stage.
There is various stages which may be found on the graduate page.
I applied for the Sydney position which proved to be competitive since I was from Adelaide.
The first few stages proved to be average where the interview stage was reasonable. If I recall correctly approximately 4 questions that seemed informal for the nature of the job.
At the assessment centre held in a rather expensive hotel function room, approximately 30 graduates. Intention was to only take approximately 4 graduates so tough competition.
They outsourced a speaker/host to help potential graduates calm nerves and answer any questions relating to industry/interview processes for later.
As for the assessment centre. Split into three stages.
(1) Conversational skills
Paired up with another member and asked to discuss about a topic of their selection.
(2) Group task
Group/team work tasked to conduct a design project. We are then tasked to present this to our assessors.
(3) Interview/speach
This task required the graduate to come up with 30 second speech with 2 minutes about a topic chosen. On that day it was about NDY 20:20 vision.
They provided lunch and alerted everyone who would move onto the next & final stage, personal interview.
I was unsuccessful in moving to personal interview.
They were helpful in providing feedback by email.
