J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez NBCUniversal (Los Angeles, CA) en janv. 2008
Entretien
I was refered to a company that edits drama for a women's channel by a fried. The CEO was a former editor and was the one who interviewed me. He asked me a lot of technical questions regarding the program they used to edit the show, but since the software was not the software I used as my first choice, he did not hire me. He said he was looking for someone who was a dedicated Final Cut Pro editor.

The initial sift was laid back, quite conversational. The interviewer wanted answers to all the expected questions, eg. why do I want to work at NBCU and what I can bring to the team.

Question 1
Strangely, the interviewer asked what route I'd take to the newsroom. I'd never been asked that before and hadn't really thought about it! I'd advise future interviewees to consider this, as I think the interviewer wanted to know if I had really thought it all through.

Entretien
It was a very standard interview. They asked about strengths and weaknesses and past experiences. Was fairly short. It was over a video call. I knew it didn't go well.
