I applied late in the process so only got one phone interview. They were extremely nice and welcoming. They were mostly interested in my past experience (almost none) and why I wanted to work at JPL. It was mostly a pleasant experience and I wouldn't say it is necessary to be nervous.

Got a referral through a current employee. Was contacted through email and set up a 1-hour phone screen. Interviewed with three engineers through phone. Interview questions were mostly behavioral and involved lots of questions on things on resume.
