Briefly interviewed with department head. We had a one-hour interview, during which I was asked my expertise in rewriting/editing Web content and creating microsites based on departmental needs. I was subsequently promoted to associate director of marketing and communications. Although it took several weeks for the employer to make the hiring decision, my overall impression of the interviewer and the hiring process is excellent.
