applied online, recruiter then contacted me for a 30 min phone interview where she described about the position. further she mentioned that she would forward my resume to the hiring manager. interview with hiring manager was scheduled for 30 mins. he was impressed with the resume and later got an email from the recruiter that they're going to move to the next step which is an online coding challenge. after 3 days when i emailed them with a followup, i was given an automated reject email.
the hiring manager told me that they're still figuring out what the next steps of the recruiting would be. they had no clue on how to proceed. i feel that they should figure all of this first and then start the interviews instead of wasting candidates time
