I applied from BuiltIn and really enjoyed working with the recruiting team. I had a screening call with on recruiter and was moved on to a condo with the hiring manager. After that, I had an hour and a half long call with 3 30 min sections that ran over do to the first person being confused so ended up being over 2 hours. Unlike many final stage interviews I felt like the questions were very canned such as “tell me a time when…. Over and over” instead of others where I did a presentation or assignment to actually present and showcase my skills. I enjoyed the call with many but the sales team member was judgmental of my resume even though I’ve been through acquisitions and layoffs and I didn’t have a great feeling about the longevity of the product after reading reviews. I ultimately decided this wasn’t going to be a long term fit for me but it could be a cool opportunity for someone else who wants to help build something!
