Well, this is going to be a long review of my experience with Morningstar (PitchBook Data) so, hold tight.
I applied in late Jan'2022 for the position of Research Associate, PitchBook Data in Vashi, Navi Mumbai through their website.
Based on my resume, I got shortlisted for the online hiring test and successfully cleared it. After a few days, I got an email for attending their Candidate Briefing Session after which, I was supposed to be called for an interview which would consist of further two rounds. They have mentioned in the email that after attending the session, I have to fill out a post-session survey which consisted of general questions like preferable time shift, ready to relocate, etc. and only after reviewing candidates' resumes, test scores, and survey response, eligible candidates would be called for an interview on 16th or 18th of February'2022. I did not get that part, because I was shortlisted, passed the test, and obviously answered their questions on the survey with a positive response.
Moreover, they had also mentioned in that email, not to contact HR if not called for an interview.
I had to mail HR seeking an appropriate reason as to why I was not called for an interview despite clearing previous rounds.
I did not receive any response from their end.
I am unable to comprehend how they're screening the candidates who have applied for the position and if I was not suitable for the said position, they should not have shortlisted me in the first place.
