My interview at Monumetric felt very different from interviewing with other tech companies. The first interview was in person with two members of the executive team and was more like they were trying to get to know me and see if I would be a good cultural fit. They had obviously done their research on me, and had thoroughly explored my resume- enough to ask specific questions about my experience, rather than generic questions like I've experienced in most interviews. For my second interview, I was assigned a book to read, asked to create Objectives for each department and then presented them to the executives. From the start of the interview process, I could feel they do things differently and have a very collaborative work environment.
