I applied via Linkedin. 2 weeks later I received a request to do a phone interview. Following that, I was asked to do another phone interview during which I was given 2 minutes to ask questions. I asked the person who set up the interview for the hiring managers email to send a thank you e-mail and was told to simply send it to her and she would forward. I received the following e-mail in response to that e-mail, which was obviously intended for the hiring manager. "FYI and i'm connecting with him today to cut him loose..." I asked if this was intended for me and/or regarding me. She said it was not intended and would like to speak later on. Never received an apology and got a call simply telling me there were more senior candidates. When I asked about things I was lacking and the experience they were looking for she stated, "It's irrelevant, we are not going to be moving forward with you. You can find the years on the job description." Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful.
