A recruiter found me on LinkedIn and said that they were hiring for a content strategist for the company itself. He was super enthusiastic from the get go. I had a 30-min phone conversation with the recruiter to see if the position was a good fit for both ends. I then had an interview with the marketing manager that was very conversational and easygoing (seemed mostly for a culture fit). I had another interview with the marketing manager where we touched more on my technical skills and experience and then a final interview with the VP of sales. Overall it was a simple interview process and the recruiter walked me through every step. He even gave me a lot of advice and coaching before my interviews. My only issue with the interview process was how much the recruiter made it sound like I was going to get the job only to be declined an offer for vague reasons. Mondo seems like a great company to work for. Definitely feeling bummed I wasn’t chosen after feeling so hopeful I had the job.
