It was a quick phone interview about the position. The CFO joined the call halfway through, then left and rejoined the call for the last two minutes. It was a typical phone interview until I asked them about the number of negative employee reviews on indeed and asked them about their personal experiences with the company. The CFO initially told me he worked for them for 10 years, then quickly corrected himself saying he'd only been there for five. Being that there's a big difference between five and ten years, I decided to check his LinkedIn page to see what he had posted for his work experience. Don't you know that he'd not even been at Community Brands for a year.
If the higher ups can't be honest and transparent on an initial phone interview, you know there are big problems.
