Hiring process felt very corporate and very 90's except for the fact it was done remote. Interview questions briefed to answer in the Star method. Cant remember the last time I ever saw that. The people I dealt with until the final step were actually however very nice, professional and warm. Felt the process was going well until the last step. In hindsight I think they just want someone who has previously worked at Habito or Trussle. However, I do still believe the company would be great to work for, but if you work for a mortgage broker that cares about the client process and journey and not just churning them out for commission and to have client relationships, be warned its probably not for you and they probably wont take you on anyway. Last stage where I assumed it was a formality as the process had gone well up to then took a turn as the person I dealt with seemed too busy, disinterest and that they had made their made up before giving me a fair chance.

It was a really long interview process, I felt a lot of it wasn’t relevant, some Of it was about fintech rather than giving mortgage advice. It kind of took away from the main points of looking after clients.
