      4 Stage interview - Discovery Call with Recruiter - In depth Job video call with Head of Sales - Technical Task Presentation with Head of Sales and Colleague - "Behaviour and values" video call with Co-Founder (CFO & COO) and Colleague. The Initial call was fine, so was the call with Head of sales. Presentation I was taksed to research and then pitch to them a potential real life client and explain my outreach strategy which from the response I nailed. Then came the behaviours interview. Which had very little to do with behaviours and values. His colleague was extremley pleasant and was interedted in getting to know me as a person and how I worked. However the COO/CFO was just interested in my previous work and my process of working. Which is understandable but I had already answered and passed this in the previous interviews. He came across quite rude and condecending. For example when being asked about the amount of initial calls attempted in a week in my previous company and I explained how to acheive this he replied "Well that just sounds illogical" and moved on. After going through these interviews I then receive an email stating "We write to you today to let you know that in our debriefing meeting for the hiring activity at Mintago and despite a positive performance in our process, the hiring team decided to delay the hire of this headcount until further notice." Considering this is a company thats set up to help with employers mental and financial wellbeing, I cant help but feel messed about. How about you make sure you actually need to hire before you take people through weeks of an interview process. Upon reading other reviews, it seems this company does have a poor culture in how it treats its employees. Which they are scrambling to change as they touch on this in the fact that theyve hired new maganers in the past months including the Head of Sales so that they change the culture.

      Hi there, We apologise for this experience, especially if, as you mentioned, at any point, our team came across as rude or condescending. I have passed this feedback directly to the relevant party. Interviewing is a skill, so any direct feedback offered will help us make candidates more comfortable and set for success in the future. On the topic of the delaying the hiring for the headcount, we understand this can cause stress and we apologise again. A start up environment means tight decisions with limited resources and unfortunately these decisions often need to be made quickly. We do our best to communicate transparently, but we may not get it right all the time. We reiterate the feedback was honest and there was a last minute headcount change. We hope this response helps make sense of it - good luck with your search and thanks again for all the effort put into our process.
