Had an initial call with the recruiter, he passed me on to another recruiter(from the client), had another initial call, they both were very nice and the discussions seemed to go well, the only hints they gave were positive and encouraging regarding next steps, but then I received a generic rejection email which baffled me considering how things went during the actual discussions. I asked both recruiters for any reason or explanation they could share with me and they completely ghosted me and never responded again.
Really bad experience because of the two faced behavior they had.

Entretien
The hiring process took around two months and initially went well, with clear communication through the first three stages. However, the final stage was presented as a “greet & meet” with the client but turned out to be another technical interview, which I was not prepared for due to misleading information. Additionally, the role was described as Java, but the client stated it was 100% Kotlin, showing a clear misalignment. After all this time investment, I only received a generic rejection with no constructive feedback. Overall, the process lacked transparency and respect for the candidate’s time.
