I first applied to MINDBODY at the end of August (8/20/14) for the Implementation Coach position. I continued to follow up through JobVite & email. I attempted several times to go into the actual building to follow up on my application, but they weren't able to do anything in person, as correspondence with them was all electronic. After several attempts of following up electronically, I received an email for my first phone interview on 10/16/14. I followed up two weeks later to check n my application & was informed the two positions they were looking to fill didn't need filling anymore. I continued to apply for any and all positions I would have the qualifications for. I had another phone interview for Administrative Support on 12/15/14. Both phone interviews were fun & laid back. The phone interview is to get to know you & see if you're a good fit for the position/company. On 12/23/14 I received an email for an in-house interview for Implementation Coach. To prepare for the interview, you must prepare a statement as why you would be a good fit for the position, as well as give a brief demonstration on the software as if you're coaching a client in how to use it. They provided the links to the demo site & a link for a 'How-To' video demonstration. The in-house interview went well, the questions were more get-to-know you type questions as well as situation-type questions. I had asked what happened to the last person to hold the position, and one left to be with her boyfriend in San Francisco (she was waiting to find a job & just found one) & the other went back to her previous company because they offered her more money (This is most likely the reason why I didn't get past the first phone interview). The final interview was with the Implementation Manager on 1/7/15. He had his set questions, but presented it in more of a conversation rather that question/answer type responses. I received the email offer on 1/14/15 & my first day with the company is on 2/2/15. I am very excited to join the team. Even though the process took a bit of time, it was all well worth it as I have been wanting to work for MINDBODY for several years.

Did a phone interview, then an onsite interview with two supervisors conducting the interview. After the onsite interview I did a bit of job shadowing. I personally feel as though I was denied the position on assumptions made of me, and the interview didn't allow enough to reflect on my capabilities as a worker. I truly wanted to be a part of the team, and felt as an employee, I would be of an asset. Unfortunately, I received an email a few days later after my onsite interview letting me know that I did not fit what they were looking for.
