Applied via company site, heard back within a week for an interview. Met directly with the hiring manager then the rest of the team. Very laid back interview great experience. If you know your resume and your role it was a breezy.

Submitted my application (resume and cover letter required) on a Thursday night. I received a phone call from a recruiter to set up an interview by Friday afternoon. My interview was the following Tuesday. Five 30 minute one-on-one interviews with several departments represented (HR, lab manager, quality manager, r&d). Basic interview questions mainly. A couple questions asking about experience with job duties found in the job description. I was also asked my long term living aspirations (I.e. do I see myself staying in the area to feel the waters to see if I foresee having a career there). I was also given many opportunities to ask about the work environment and I was given a brief window tour of the plant. Three days later I got a phone call from a recruiter (different than the first) to schedule a one hour one-on-one interview with the supervisor the job would be reporting to. This interview took place a week later. He asked the same questions as the previous interviewers. He also answered job specific questions I had about the position. Overall I had a pretty solid experience with the interview process. The first recruiter called and offered me the position about an hour after that second interview. It was a total of 15 days between submitting an application and receiving the offer. The proposed start date was about a month after the offer. However, the third party company MilliporeSigma utilizes to before the background check, drug screening, and credentials check was miserable to deal with and I honestly wasn’t sure I was going to start on time, but in the end did.
