J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Midland Credit Management (San Diego, CA) en janv. 2021
Entretien
I was contacted via a recruiter on LinkedIn about this opening which then led to a phone screen. The recruiter was very friendly and personable and I felt good about the company after being initially skeptical as they are in the collections space. I was first given a technical assignment that consisted of architecting a system per a given spec. The prompt was a little self-contradictory in its requirements but all in all it wasn't too bad and it took about 6-8 hours to complete. After submitting the project I quickly moved on to three back-to-back 45 minute technical interviews (which hardly even mentioned the project I had completed earlier). A few days later I had another 45 minute interview with the manager of the team I was interviewing for and the following week I had a final 30 minute interview with a senior manager. Everyone was very friendly and everything seemed to be going very well. I was fully expecting to receive an offer. After that things went silent for a few weeks during which I had to contact the recruiter once a week to see if I was even still being considered. After all of that, I eventually received an email saying that the position had been put on hold as they needed to revisit their current needs.
