Applied online as heard from campus recruitment. Talked to technical recruiter, got a call from hiring manager after 2 days. Got an on site interview after 2 lengthy months. Very friendly interview with 4 people, each taking 50 minutes. Mostly technical questions from VLSI, Device Physics and Programming. Nailed most of the questions and the senior engineer was pretty satisfied with the performance. But as the last interviewer confessed that they are going through "hire freezing", I was upset hearing that, despite he also confessed that I am a very strong candidate for them.
