I applied online for the Early AM position. When I went to Michaels the next week, they had a sign by the door saying they were hiring/looking for Overnight Replenishment Associates. They didn't have that position open on the website, though. I went in and spoke to some saying that I had seen the sign at the front and had already applied online. I then was asked to put my name and phone number on a sheet of paper and they would get back to me. Maybe one day passed, and I got a call on Friday asking if I could come in the next day at noon for an interview. I said sure, so the next day I had my interview. I think I was asked a grand total of three questions (besides that I applied for Early AM, but was interviewing for overnight, and if that was okay). Mostly the person was just explaining/talking about Michaels and their particular store's position. I was literally asked a grand total of four questions, and two of them dealt with logistics and availability of when I could work. I was basically hired on the spot. I didn't have my SS card with me (who does?), so I had to come back the next day with it and my ID to fill out some paperwork, and then started on Monday. It was very easy. I think it helped that they seemed to need more help.
