I believe it's just ONE person that handles all the hiring at the MTA Headquarters.
Straight forward interview. Calls you about it to schedule the interview, then expect you to come in. The place itself is pretty much desserted, with no receptionist or a worker in sight. You can walk in quite casually.
She was pretty friendly, until it got down to MTA history. She was pretty upset on it, that I only knew the minimum.

They called me in twice. Met with all of the department heads. Got descriptive information on what the job entails and what they are looking for in an employee. The setting was not nervous at all. They make you feel comfortable and they you give a chance to speak and answer all the questions they give to you.

Got called in for an interview the week after the online posting was closed. Spoke with HR and went in for a meeting in the morning. Met with the 5 managers of the audit department in two panel meetings. The interview took about two hours.

Entretien
Interviewed with Assistant Auditor Generals and then Human Resources representative and then met with Auditor General, all in one day for about an hour to an hour and a half. I was contacted about two weeks later with an offer.
