J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Metron Labs (Pune) en avr. 2026
Entretien
Was called to their office for an on-site coding round. Had to build a full-stack security monitoring tool from scratch in 3 hours — a Flask REST API with a detection engine and a Next.js dashboard. Completed and submitted everything within the time. A few days later, HR informed me that the feedback was "not positive" with zero specific reason given. When I politely asked what exactly went wrong so I could improve, I was left on read. No response at all. The entire process felt like a formality — no constructive feedback, no transparency, and no basic professional courtesy extended to a candidate who gave up half a day and significant effort.

Question 1
Build a full-stack security monitoring tool for a Coda workspace in 3 hours — including a backend API with detection rules and a frontend dashboard.
The interview process at Metron Security felt poorly managed and unproductive. The interviewer himself did not seem well-prepared to conduct the session, which created a sense of confusion. Even after I provided correct answers, he was cross-checking them on the internet/AI in real time, which made the process feel unprofessional.
In addition, the compensation they offer is quite low compared to industry standards. I’ve also come to know that working hours there are not well-defined, which raises concerns about work-life balance. Overall, the experience left me with the impression that the company lacks proper structure both in their hiring process and in their employee policies.
Interview process was good, Hr pratibha made interview process very smooth , all the candidates were given a certain task out of 3 questions you can choose one and present the output, it was no hard and fast rule also was flexible to use any ai tool
