Pros: – The recruiter was responsive and kept me informed throughout the scheduling process. – I was able to present a few case studies with shipped work and a functional prototype. Cons: – The interviewer was unnecessarily rude and aggressive throughout the session, interrupting multiple times in a way that seemed intentionally disruptive. – I was cut off during my presentation under the pretense of asking questions, which ultimately prevented me from finishing the final slide on my key reflections and learnings. – There was no constructive feedback after the process, and I was left with the impression that the experience was dismissive rather than collaborative. – The tone and energy did not reflect Meta’s stated values around openness or respect. Advice to Meta: Candidates invest time, effort, and vulnerability into these interviews. Even if the outcome isn’t a fit, the experience should be respectful, especially when interviewing for a role that relies on empathy, communication, and collaboration.
