Application Process: I applied online through Meta's careers page. The process took about 6 weeks in total. I was first contacted by a recruiter, followed by an initial phone screen, and then progressed to several rounds of interviews.
Interview Rounds:
Phone Screen with Recruiter: Basic questions about my background, why Meta, and a brief discussion on my understanding of the PM role.
Initial Interview with a PM: This was a video call focusing on my previous experience, with a deep dive into one of my past projects. The interviewer was particularly interested in how I prioritized features and dealt with cross-functional teams.
Onsite Interviews: There were four rounds here.
The first round focused on product sense. I was asked to brainstorm features for a hypothetical new product.
The second round was about product execution. I was given a scenario where a product's key metric was declining and asked how I would address it.
The third was a technical round, which was more about understanding data and making decisions based on metrics.
The final round was a cultural fit interview with a senior leader, discussing Meta's values and how I align with them.
