My interview with Mesh Bio was disappointing due to the unprofessional and condescending behaviour of the senior solutions engineer. During a live coding task, I couldn’t recall the exact syntax for the Python if __name__ == '__main__' statement as I had not touched Python in a while. Instead of allowing me to look it up, I was left trying out different variations while the interviewer just watched. No guidance was provided, and it wasn’t until I pointed out that I couldn’t realistically fix this without checking documentation that he realised his expectation was unreasonable and let me search. The whole interaction felt less like a technical evaluation and more like a power trip — testing memory for trivial syntax under pressure rather than actual problem-solving skills. Overall, it was an unprofessional and unproductive experience. Stay away. Experience says a lot about the people working there.
