The first round of interview is a Technical Interview with the Principal level SDET. Asked about job experience, and day to day tasks in past experiences.
The real world scenarios:
1. Asked about Selenium, and finding an element using XPath on a real website while sharing screen.
2. Ask about what type of tests I would write for a given endpoint.
Interview is harder than the actual job:
1. Asked a question straight from Leetcode.
I asked if I can use Google because there can be existing methods in the language's library itself.
Their initial answer was no.
I questioned them, so if I was already on the team, I am not allowed to search things up if I don't know it?
They eventually said sure, you can use Google, but cannot search the solution.
