I understand that hiring processes can take a long time but I was surprised at how long this took. I can imagine in other scenarios the length of time to hire a basic position like this might leave them empty-handed with people who have moved on, retained alternative employment or simply lost interest. There seems to be too much time in between interviews and follow ups and they really should speed up the process if they want to get the right candidate and show that they are a valued asset to their team. I'm glad it worked out, but there was too much delay stretched out overall; too many hoops to jump through.
