J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Meraki (Chicago, IL) en mars 2022
Entretien
There will be about 3-4 interviewing sessions but stay hopeful and do not give up!! Interviewing can be exhausting but they are just making sure they weed out the right people. Keep in mind that the interviewers are very nice and they really do not make you feel nervous at all. They are very friendly and calm and they do not treat you like just another interviewing task. They are engaged and focused and you should be too. Sit up straight, look presentable, smile and stay attentive :)
1. Phone Screening -- 10-15 minutes
2. Troubleshooting Interview -- 20-30 Minutes
3. Coachability, Adaptability, and motivations Interview -- 30-45 minutes
Do not be alarmed if you did not take up all the time or if you think it went by too quickly. As long as you are thorough with your answers it is okay. My interviews were max 20 minutes for questioning and we had time left over at the end for me to ask questions.
Questions d'entretien [2]
Question 1
Phone Screening:
- they tell you a bit about Cisco Meraki
- ask basic screening questions
- What is DHCP, IP static routing, DNS, ICMP, Traceroute?
-usually tell you right there if your moving to the next interview
Technical Interview:
- STUDY STUDY STUDY (go over some troubleshooting scenarios before this interview)
- if a client calls and their computer is not turning on, what would the troubleshooting process look like for that?
- If you are searching up something in a browser and it shows you an error message (no specific type of error message), what could that be?
- If you have printed something to a printer and the printer has no received the information, what should you do?
- Shown a topology with 2 PCs connected to a Switch's ports through f/a cables.... When PC-A pings PC-B, what will happen and how will the PCs be able to communicate.
Final Interview:
- This is not a technical interview so take a deep breath and relax lol (6-7 questions)
- It is important to stay very relaxed and open in this interview because you are going to be talking about your character
- Tell me about a time where you had to ask a question to a higher up or co-worker and what did you learn from it? (Be very detailed, you'll think they do not want to hear every little detail but they do!)
- When given a task you are unsure of, what steps do you take to complete that task? (they want to know if you are willing to collab with co-workers and ask questions)
- Tell me about a time when your workplace or professional environment went through a change you did not agree with or was unexpected. (Be smart about this answer! I answered when I had to switch from being remote to on-site after COVID)
- Tell me about a time where there was a client or person who was struggling with something, and how did you handle the situation?
- Tell me about a protocol or rule at work that was hard to understand, and how did you adapt to it?
Here are a couple of links to videos I watched before my interviews. Do not take this lightly! You have to be prepared and study for this. Write down these questions and right out your own explanations.

Nice examiner very chill. Just make sure what you say you are able to define. He will ask you questions on the answers you are giving. They will make sure you have an understanding of what you are answering. Also take your time dont rush
It was an audio only call with the recruiter. She was very sweet, well-spoken, and super friendly. They don't specify that its a technical interview, but you will be asked very basic networking based questions which you would learn in your 1st-2nd year of University/College. Interviewer also gave me ample time to speak and let me ramble on about certain protocols without cutting me off which was very appreciated.
