got interviewed by four or five different people at once. HR, store manager, department manager, and someone working their way up. Typical interview questions such as "why do you want to work here" or "how would you handle this situation." with menards, do whatever it takes to make the customer happy.

Simple - not many tough questions. Based mostly on your willingness to work and have a flexible Schedule - especially if you want to be part time

Friend who was working there at the time mentioned my name to the department manager. I was able to get hired without going through a formal interview process. We mostly spoke about how the department functioned and what to expect from other members from the team. What resources were available for me to gain knowledge.
