Entretien
sit down interview basic questions about my life and background and work history. then onto the sales floor for putting together a shirt and tie stack. basically in the middle of the store on one of the flat tables the manager laid out two suits and about 5 shirts and ties and pocket squares and he asked me to put some together and explain why and how they work together to sell them to a customer. it was really seeing how i engage customers on the spot and how could i relay my expertise to selling mens suits and clothing options.

J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Men's Wearhouse (Novato, CA)
Entretien
Series of interviews starting with the one manager talking about your relevant experience in customer service/sales and an idea of daily tasks that you will preform. Could talk about availability and amount of hours to work. High school students are considered for approved part time work. Be ready to show up dressed in the appropriate business wear and in a positive can do attitude. Generally followed up with another interview with other manager members of the team and a request to do a product presentation on the spot, showcasing your communication and ability to describe and sell a suit with accessories. Just be yourself and do your best to sell the items on the table. You should be equipped with the customer profile and occasion of the outfit, if not, be sure to ask. This is usually followed up with a decision to employ you and offer for your wages.

Question 1
Do you have experience in sales or customer service? Are you comfortable standing for long periods of time? Why do you want to work here? Are you a team player and goal oriented?
in person where was asked what sales experience i have. asked about my people skills and my schedule. was a fare and relaxed interview. would reccomend the job for people who are interested in men’s formal wear and working with people.
Wasn’t too bad. I think that if they spent more time on questions that actually pertained to the job it would’ve been better. 2 interviews total. I think the process could have went a lot smoother
