I was initially contacted by the HR who then presented my resume to a certain department. I got a call for an interview which was with the Research Coordinator and the Research Manager. They asked behavioral questions to judge if I would be a good fit for the role or not. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.

There were not difficult questions. It was more like a behavioral assessment to see if the candidate is a good fit for the position or not.

It was very thorough from the phone call to the sit down interview with the talent acquisition specialist in HR to the hiring manager. In later years and higher positions, I also had to interview with the MD in the department I was applying to. Overall experience was pleasant.

Overall process takes a long term but actual interviews are pretty relaxed and easy. Be prepared on how to answer the basic and common interview questions and come prepared with your own questions on the research they do

Long process with multiple interviews with manager, RSAs and even PIs. Be ready to be interviewed within a group and to meet a PI of a given clinical trial. You will have to interview over the phone, then come in person. Please note that MSK will not cover any travel or hotel stay
