      Entretien

Poorly organized - was told to fill out an application form, then a manager - possibly an owner - abruptly stormed in the room, quickly said his name (SO fast it was indescernable), rattled off a brief job description, and suddenly asked me the question below. Didn't even shake hands and he was extremely rude. I would never work for this company simply because I've never been treated so rudely.

First Greg left me a rude voicemail. I could tell from his tone in the voicemail this is not someone or a company that I would want to work for. Greg called ma again, unfortunately I answered the call not knowing it was him. Just like his voicemail, Greg was incredibly rude on the call. The first thing Greg asked me was "do you meet every little detail of the requirements within the job posting"? My first thought was isn't that your job? Shouldn't you be vetting out applicants before you call them? I explained to Greg that I would imagine so if I applied; however, I do not remember every detail of your posting as I have looked at numerous job posting. . To be honest I wasn't even sure if Greg knew which role I was applying for being they have a few different ads out for different roles. I explained to Greg that I am interested in a leadership role. Greg said we have both sales res and leadership roles but the role I get is up to them. This took me back as my resume clearly states that I have held VP/leadership roles for over ten years. Why would I want to be a sale rep at this point in my career? Secondly, when Greg asked me if meet every detail in the posting this confused me as the details are different for each role. How can I answer the question about meeting details in the posting if i do not know which role Greg is discussing with me? Next Greg would not let me ask a single question about the company or the role. Greg made it clear that he will not answer questions on the phone as they do not offer phone interviews and he is a busy man. Wait, what? I cannot ask questions and/or my questions will not be answered? Wow, I can see this company has a great culture...not! Greg was trying to press me to come for an interview. He said they have so many candidates and the interview slots are limited...he then said (in the next breath) I can see you tomorrow 10am, 11am 1pm, 2pm, 4pm...same for Friday. Wow that seems like a lot of time slots being there are tons of candidates. Another red flag. I explained to Greg that I am currently employed and do not think I can get there on a days notice. I asked for time next week, Greg said "no its no or never...do you even want a job"? Again I was taken back. Being I am the VP of my organization, I am not desperate for a new job and even if I was I would not work at Media One. I explained to Greg that I do not think this is a good fit and before I could thank him for his time, I heard a dial tone. Greg has a lot to learn about the interview process and how to speak to human beings. What a disgusting person. Greg needs to realize that interviewing is a two way street. Candidates are interviewing the company just as much as the company is interviewing the candidate.

      Question 1

I was told by Greg that questions are not allowed. The only question Greg asked me was " do i meet the requirements of every little detail in the job posting.
