Some HR person from Medallia contacted me directly that my profile looks good and whether id be interested in java dev position in their company. We discussed some details, tech stack + they told me they are just starting in Prague etc and i agreed to give it a go. 1st interview was with some dev/lead/manager talking mostly about their product and what do they do, i said it definitely sounds interesting and we agreed am gonna be moved to a second round with a lead of the specific team id be possibly working for, perfect ! I attended the second interview which was quite similar to the first in a way we were mostly talking about the company/product (no technical questions whatsoever). The guy seemed cool and we ended up on a fine note again, i said multiple times the product looks interesting from the description he gave me and id be happy to move forward. Later i received an email that I was rejected - > "We decided to not proceed any further as we do not think there is a sufficient motivation and interest from your side about the product and the company". this. word for word. I read it couple of times and thought about the whole process and i still cant figure out what went wrong. Maybe am too ugly or something :D srsly what a huge waste of time (it took almost a month as they were quite slow with everything).
