The first round is done through a pre-recorded system where you are asked questions and you have to reply within a certain time limit, into a screen, with no human contact. It was odd, very cold and not a great first impression. It was very uncomfortable, and if you aren't someone who can answer questions in exactly 2 minutes then you'd likely fail the interview - like me. I find it surprising a large company like Mecca filters senior candidates this way, I can only imagine the number of great people they have turned down who may have been perfect for the job, but just was not comfortable with this process.
