I applied for a billing coordinator position. A recruiter emailed me and then shortly thereafter retracted the email. I replied asking if the email was for me or a mistake. The recruiter emailed back saying it was not a mistake and scheduled a phone interview. The interview was about an hour an I thought it went well. She told me she would be in touch. However, I never heard back from her again. Suggestion- if you make a mistake, own it. This was a complete waste of time when she clearly appeared to have emailed the wrong candidate for an interview.
