J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez McMaster-Carr en oct. 2010
Entretien
Initially the person I spoke to was really nice then she became very rude--for no apparent reason. She was very snobby.
One really pathetic question she asked was, "How long were you in college." --despite my resume clearly stating the dates and that I received an advanced degree.
Don't waste your time interviewing with them.
Very interesting hiring philosophy - They hire for aptitude not necessarily previous experience. Apparently people jump around internally enough that they look for contributions to the overall business when assessing talent.

Tell me about a time when you needed to get creative in your methods?
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez McMaster-Carr (Chicago, IL) en juin 2019
Entretien
Was reached out to by a recruiter on LinkedIn for an interview for the position. We went through 3 phone calls that were all very positive and informational. Ultimately, about 30 minutes after the last phone call I was sent an email saying they were moving onto other candidates with no other explanation. A bit off putting since all the conversations seemed to go professionally and well. Even though IL is an "at will" state and explanations aren't needed, it's not a great way to go about the process all the same.
