They called cold called me and tried to get me hooked with promises of a giant salary and great benefits. This was a 20 min call. They followed with another scheduled 30 minute call telling me about the management program, which is where it gets strange. They changed their tune on the minimum base salary and wouldn't tell me exactly what I'd be doing. That's right - take a few days off from work to interview across the country for a job they won't tell you about until you get there. I took the leap and scheduled another 30 minute call to talk about my background. It was a very orderly log of all of my previous jobs, followed by one strengths and weaknesses question. That's it. I was not offered an in-person based on that alone.

The recruiter called me and asked me general questions about my style and related management experience. She told me a little more about the position. The general management role involves working on business processes, projects, etc. I never heard back from the recruiter after the initial phone call.
