J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez McKinley, Inc. (Ann Arbor, MI) en juil. 2023

I've always have been impressed and eager to work for this company. I've had two interviews one in 2008 and last month July 2023. My first experience was bad it was at the Taylor Michigan property and my interview was rude, on her phone and gestured me out of her office while on her phone. No brainer I didn't get a second call. This time, I interviewed, was told to check my email as my resume would be forwarded and I ended up reaching out only to be told she moved on with another candidate. That's understandable. What's not is common courtesy from both incidents. I thought about it, that maybe it was God's protection for me not to work with the company at this time, it's a constant bturn over like every 90 days or less for a managers position and maybe the owner need to peep game and ask why is this happening so much. Why is the position always posted so frequently? Surely it cannot be the recruiter or staff fault and maybe just maybe it's a "management" issue. How hard is it to manage when all of the tools like learning their way, having adequate staff, equipment and the salary is perfect, or perfect bait? I don't know, but I'm very impressed with the overall company itself, I'm now just one eyebrow up on the high turn over and wish everyone the best!!!

Two of my co-workers have already shared their unpleasant experience from the interview process with McKinley, Inc. I did not want to be discouraged so easily though and decided to try this hat on me. During short phone interview conducted by the same person for all of us at different times, we immediately got a letter declining us as candidates. I have been very fortunate to work for a leading company in the property management for past 5 years. My time with the company has been very rewarding. I gained tremendous experience over these years. The only reason why I am looking for a job is due to the sale of the community. I have a feeling that McKinley is like a club, where you have to be a member of, to be considered. I was not impressed with the questions I have been asked. It seems like old school to me.

Initial written questions, noted below. It was good to have the opportunity to think of your response. From then a phone interview was scheduled within a couple days. The Interviewer was half hour late and then was unfortunately rushed and preoccupied when we finally spoke. After 15 minutes, I should have rescheduled.
