The hiring process starts with Initial Screening from HR. The HR person was nice but he was asking weird questions about my unrelated skill to the job and not able to explain what exactly the job required and explaining the face that how I can be more prepared for the Hiring manager rounds. My next interview with the Hiring Manager was not good. Initially, I have been asked that if I am interested in the other Business Intelligence position they are having other than the NLP/LLM/text analysis subjects. They were not sure whom should hire for which position. Also, they needed someone that knows exactly the pipeline creation, MLOps, building RAG and LangGraphs from scratch as well as complex data engineering tasks. This was more ML Engineer type of position, not the actual data scientist. They need someone that knows how to design and build a Machine Learning system end-to-end from scratch on AWS or GCP. Make sure you ask the HR what positions they are exactly hiring for. There are two more round after this, Technical assessment with other data scientists, and meeting with the senior director at last, and then if they want to move forward, they will let you know after finishing each stage of the interview right away. They won't ghost you or anything like that.

Applied through career portal. Got a HR call for initial phone screening. After 2 days, HR called me and asked my availability for Onsite interview in Richmond, VA. The process took 2 weeks from the date I applied. Process is pretty fast. Every person I met was very cool and you don’t have to be tensed when you have an interview with McKensson. Got a call on Friday that I selected. Total 2 weeks of process.
