It was a lengthy process, covering several months. The biggest issue was that the position was contingent on a new contract with the federal government, and they are often time consuming and chancy. In retrospect, it should have surprised me that the interviews were all with the prime contractor - Maze was just going to be a sub. But it worked out and I finally got an offer after the HUD contract was signed.
