Applied through the Maze(HQ)'s website. The process started with a 30 min screening with the VP Operations. This was a very friendly and professional discussion about the company and my experience. The next step was supposed to be an intro discussion with the CTO / co-founder of the startup. The interviewer was friendly and very energetic. The discussion was interesting, but a bit rushed and along intros it felt that we didn't managed to cover that much in the 30 min chat. Also, during the process they mentioned they are looking for comfortability and experience in very early stage startup environments, whatever that means. This was also one of the stated reasons why they did not wanted to continue with the next interview rounds, which would have been a coding challenge, a system design session and a discussion with the product team.
