After I applied online for the *remote* position, I got an email and we scheduled a phone interview. Then, a couple of hours before the call, they cancelled the meeting without any explanation. When I wrote to ask about what happened, the recruiter replied saying that they didn't realize I was outside of the US right now. No further explanation, and not even an apology! When I replied clarifying that I'm a US national and I just happen to be outside of the country for a few months, and that I don't need to be in the US for the call, she just replied "we won't be moving forward"! Entitled and incredibly disrespectful. Like their time is more valuable than mine. If there was a misunderstanding, it's their responsibility. She wouldn't even recognize it or apologize. I don't understand why they have to be like that.
