There are approximate 6-7 rounds, Out of which about four are on-site. Till now I have done the following. The next expected round is a Phone interview.
1. Recorded Interview
2. MathWorks Coding Challenge.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Recorded Interview Questions (paraphrased)
1. Why this position?
2. What is your background or experience that fits the profile?
3. Had any multiple responsibilities? How did you handle it?
4. Work permit. Need sponsorship in future?
4. Cumulative Gpa
MathWorks Coding Challenge
It has six sections; at least three are expected to be attempted. Out of which Analytical and Logical is mandatory. And you have five programming languages (C and C++, Matlab, Python, Java and something else.) out of which you can select any two. They prefer you don't choose Matlab and Python both.
The analytical section has 6 questions and 15 min to solve.
Each programming section has 30 min. Matlab doesn't have any programs to write (at least that's what I got). And there were two programs in Java.
Matlab questions
1. Function precedence order
2. Private functions, nested functions. Scope of variables in above functions
3. Logical Indexing
4. meshgrid, ngrid,
Java Questions
1. Iterators
2. Constructor
3. Simple code on Inheritance of Abstract Class
4. Garbage collection
5. Synchronization
6. Operator Overloading
7. Parenthesis balancing
5 interviews. (the 3 last during the same day).
First interview is screening about motivation. Then they give you a few weeks to prepare for the second interview.
Second interview is technical. Theoretical Questions about C C++ Matlab Math Controls. Most of them are on Glassdoor.
Third interview is technical too. But more practical. They ask to compute derivatives, minimum square areas under curves, to write Matlab functions and subfunctions and nested functions (beware of the diff between the two last).
In C and C++ they ask some tricky questions involving pointers, like char *a="hello"; cout<<a+2; what comes out?
Study polymorphisms as well.
They really expect 95 percent of correct answers.
Fourth interview is HR. Not hard, just classical HR round.
Last interview is with manager. Behavioural questions, how you work in teams...

Most of them are on Glassdoor. Whether you are interviewing with Cambridge, Natick or Bangalore, the questions are always the same as they just follow a procedure. Please spend the time to gather all Glassdoor questions. They may sometimes be stupid, but that s really what they re going to ask!
