I was contacted by a recruiter and asked to schedule an interview for a contract position in my market using ERP software I had used in a previous role. The position was presented as being a contract opportunity within Deloitte, though it became evident throughout the interview that it was actually a W2 position through Mastech Digital, ineligible for benefits, and employees must agree to a noncompetitive agreement. Connecting with the recruiter via telephone was difficult, though I did speak with her a couple of times and it was always the same person. Eventually, they stopped responding to emails and missed their previously identified milestones.
